About Trust Lost in a Lie
Ethan Carter’s wife has cancer. He plans to persuade his parents to sell the old family house to cover her medical expenses. However, his mother asks him to lie and claim that he himself is ill, as a test for his wife. Convinced that his wife would never abandon him, Ethan agrees. Back home, he follows his mother’s words and fakes his own illness. To his shock, his wife files for divorce the very same day. She even brings her mother and prepares to sue him for a divorce.
